Marianne has worked for many years at ALMH, she is in the position of OR auditor. This seems to be a position that the work is technically behind the scene, however she holds a critical position in surgical services. She has developed a daily process where she is monitoring real time all SCIP patients in surgery to assure compliance with evidence based protocols. Often she finds herself in the operating room discussing a case with staff and reminding them about key documentation components. Her attention to detail has been a key to our success with the intraoperative SCIP measures. She also decided to take a CNOR review course online and successfully obtained her certification. Surgical services at ALMH currently has the lowest certification rate, but she has become a fire starter and now have many folks interested at ALMH and will be hosting its own class. I am confident surgical services will become a leader in certification rates. In addition, she always has a smile and welcoming demeanor. She is kind, compassionate and willing to do whatever is necessary to assist her team.
