I have been treated with antibiotic infusions for a liver infection with instruction from Marianne Becker on how to dispense the medication. Marianne is the most compassionate and knowledgeable person in her field I have ever known. She goes out of her way to be available when I need her care. She explains procedures in detail and then makes sure they are understood. I called when I couldn’t get fluid through the PICC line. She checked the line and found a serious kink in it. She repaired the line and it was no longer a problem. When I had a bleed under the dressing she stopped the bleeding, changed the dressing, and made sure I was ok before she released me. She always takes my calls and patiently believes my concerns. She has made a very difficult situation much easier and far less frightening. She even took the extra time to call me at home to see how I was doing.
