Nursing leaders from across the system came together to present the DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award to Marianne Hatfield, DNP, RN, CENP, VP/Chief Nursing Officer at Kennestone Regional Medical Center, in recognition of her distinguished nursing career upon her retirement.
As a nurse for over thirty years, Marianne’s profound influence has been felt not only within Kennestone but also in the broader nursing community. Through decades of service, she has inspired countless nurses to pursue excellence and uphold the values at the heart of the profession. Her legacy is evident in the many initiatives, programs, and standards she helped establish, all of which continue to benefit patients and colleagues alike.
As the Chief Nursing Officer at Kennestone, Marianne consistently demonstrated a passion for empowering those around her and fostering an environment where innovation thrives. She has served as a mentor to many, nurturing future leaders and fostering professional growth among her peers.
