My Grandmother was in ICU, and we knew she was going to pass. When I met Marianne, I knew immediately that she was a nurse who was in nursing because she loved people and had a desire to help people. She was not in this just for a paycheck. She was very patient and explained everything to the family in a very tactful manner. She answered all our questions and was so comforting to our family. She offered us blankets and even brought in extra chairs for the family that was staying the night. She knew I was diabetic, so she would come in and make sure that I had a snack so that my sugar would not drop. This was a very hard time for our family, but Marianne tried her best to keep the room as lighthearted as possible. She assured us that she would come and wake us up if any of the monitors indicated that it was time for her to pass. She went above and beyond her job duties to comfort us during this hard time. We are so appreciative of her exceptional care!
