Marianne is an experienced and credible nurse who has worked for Cerner in support, model experience, and now as a clinical consultant in international consulting org, based in the United Kingdom. Marianne's knowledge of Millennium alongside her passion to improve nursing, and associated workflows, is infectious. When I worked alongside Marianne in the Model team, she would drive forward innovations, workflows, and new functionality that would benefit end users and ultimately patient care.

Marianne articulates value and has built up tremendous respect from the clinical community across Cerner, but also from the client base because of her knowledge and experience. Marianne demonstrates her caring nature as a nurse each day through each interaction with associates and clients.

More recently, I would like to pay tribute to Marianne in her role as a Senior Clinical Consultant. During a go-live in 2021, Marianne put her heart and soul into supporting the client in the theatres and anesthesia venue. Marianne would arrive at 8 am and the staff would literally flock to her so that she could give them more top tips to enable them to have a good day in delivering safe care to patients. Her passion to support included making sure she changed into scrubs so that she could flow in and out of the various theatres. The consultants would be asking "where is Marianne?!". Therefore, Marianne wanted to make it easier for the client to find her, so she made her own theatre scrub hat (in Cerner blue colours!) that said "Clinical Consultant" on the front. Just wonderful!

As the Executive for that client, I was super proud to receive feedback from the clinical director of surgery who commented on Marianne's superior knowledge, but also her ability to encourage and demonstrate empathy to clients who were going through a huge change.

Marianne continues to build connections with people and demonstrate the attributes of a DAISY Nurse, through her work with Milton Keynes. This is a leading client in the U.K who has stated that they do not want to lose Marianne! I believe this is all credit to Marianne and her ongoing passion for supporting the Cerner mission to improve health care.

Marianne is an awesome nurse! We get continuous great feedback from clients on how she makes an impact on her projects. From being a Knowledge Lead on all things nursing for UK Model, Marianne kept all the nursing documentation up to date with new guidelines (sometimes educating the clients on the guidelines when it should be the other way round) and attended all the quarterly Nursing SIGs to provide Model updates or ask the clients for feedback on our content.

Since moving to the Clinical Adoption Team, she has been running with multiple projects and all the clients want her on their projects. During a recent go-live, we got this feedback from the client; "Marianne has been nothing short of excellent. She has excellent knowledge of the system and is able to use these effectively in helping clinicians and staff through various workflows." The client even made her, her very own theatre hat with her name and Cerner role on it. She truly embodies all the Cerner Associate Values; Commit & Deliver (Client feedback), Innovate & Simplify (UK Model), Engage & Collaborate (Model and client projects as well as internally), Respect & Include (making sure our clients have an opportunity to validate our content for Model) and she couldn't have achieved all the above without Behaving with Integrity.
