That conversation calmed me and gave me renewed strength and faith in God.
I had just finished my surgery and was recuperating so I can be discharged. I was also informed that the histopath results would take at least a week before being released. I had so many emotions, questions, and uncertainties in my head. I had a great support system, my family is very hands-on and supportive but these things are quite challenging to absorb. He is what I consider one of my angels from MMC. I’ve had several encounters with him throughout my treatment. But the most significant is when I just finished my surgery, he visited me in my room. Checked on me and see how I was doing. And then he told me that he remembered the date of my surgery and so he informed his peers from the treatment unit and asked to pray for me. He told me that they did pray for me, for a successful surgery, for the success of my treatments, and for my overall well-being. That conversation calmed me and gave me renewed strength and faith in God. I am thankful to him for being one of my angels and for being part of my healthcare team. I am so blessed to have him as one of my nurses.
