My mom has a difficult vein and she is old and has a phobia from I.V Cannulation insertion and reinsertion. Maricar Took the time to sit and explain to her the importance of IV Cannulation and she answered all of her questions about her case. Maricar provided excellent care as well as she provided a lot of information and a safe place for the patient to participate in her treatment. Maricar advocated for my mom as she explained to us the difference between IV Cannulation and PICC line and she told us that the patient still could have I.V Cannulation, not a central catheter to protect her from unnecessary infection. I am very grateful, Maricar went the extra mile. It is reassuring to know that KFSH&RC-J has a nurse like Maricar who is very caring and respectful and treats her patients like family.
