June 2026 Honoree
Maricela Ontiveros, MSN, RN, CRRN
Maricela Ontiveros recently became an 18th-floor CI. She is a natural at teaching and always wants her coworkers to succeed and thrive in their roles.
She's knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.
I'm always happy to see she will be on the floor with me. Maricela helped me when I first started attending NPC meetings. It's because of her that I realized how important my role as a nurse is here at Shirley. My coworkers need and appreciate my input. My patients benefit directly from our ideas and concerns.
Maricela participates in many programs that spread past Shirley to local Pediatric hospitals.
Maricela is an invaluable member of the 18th Pediatric floor. I look forward to working and growing with her.
