I had a very complicated hospital stay of eight days that finally led to a diagnosis of METTS CA. Cory was my nurse for four of the eight days, my days were completely different (much better) when she was here. In a way, I felt like she was my mother. I always knew she'd be right there looking out for my best interest and advocating for me. Cory was extremely encouraging, always knowing what to say to put that fight back in my spirit. Cory gave me many hugs and held my hand through the tears. She even took the time to pray with me. Cory is an extra special one of a kind nurse who truly loves her patients. It would make me ecstatic if she is honored as a DAISY Nurse.
