I am 84 years old and naturally afraid of medical procedures at my age. I was receiving a caudal injection. It was an emotionally and physically painful experience. My eyes were closed and my head was buried in a "doughnut". I felt very alone. And then a friendly hand began rubbing my shoulder. An angelic voice whispered that I shouldn't worry and that everything was all right. It was Maricris and she was there just when I needed comfort and reassurance. I think that I'll put her in my will.
