Marie Corea Walton, BSN, RN

Marie is an outstanding nurse who goes above and beyond for those fortunate to be in her care. I have been fighting stage 4 cancer for 6 months. Since day 1, Marie has been meticulous with every detail throughout my 5 ½ to 6-hour infusions. She patiently addresses my many questions and concerns and frequently contacts my doctor for reassurance. Always there for me! I now see firsthand, with Marie as a primary example, how very hard the nurses in that infusion room work to care for, support, and comfort their patients in so many invaluable ways. Obviously, this is a difficult time for me, but when I walk into that room and hear Marie’s greeting, I immediately feel better. I am and will be forever grateful for Marie’s care, knowledge, kindness, empathy, talks, laughs, comfort, support, help, and patience. Marie is a very special person and a VERY Special nurse.
