The many nurses, doctors, and other staff are great, but MARIE has been a bright shine in life. Her compassion, caring, and knowledge exude from her. She will stop to show caring and compassion to my spouse as she shows me. She will stop up and answer the questions and help us understand the care I am receiving. You can tell it is a passion not just a job she works at and gets paid. Marie's help and understandable care and personal knowledge helped me get through a battery of bad news when I got here. Things you did not want to hear 6 months or less, maybe not even that. She talked to my spouse and me during questions and crying. No social worker could have shown the care better. She has even stepped out of her comfort to help with personal hygiene issues for me (cutting my hair). A nurse of her quality, knowledge, compassion, and heart is a gift when you know the time has limits for you and life. Marie makes this time have meaning and drive.
