Marie Joy was my dayshift nurse and boy am I so lucky she was. Joy perfectly embodies her name. Joy was so incredibly caring of me. I’ve experienced many different nurses before, and Joy is simply different. She went out of her way to make sure I was heard. She comforted me while I was in pain and made sure I was taken care of. Her kindness doesn’t go unnoticed. You can tell Joy loves what she does, and boy, and I am glad. Joy has a smile that will simply brighten up the entire room. Even while in pain, she could make me smile. Joy, thank you for the countless days of care you provided. Thank you for making me feel so at home while I was in a hospital bed. Thank you for being so kind and encouraging. Your words have stuck with me. I am eternally grateful to you. Please never change Joy; you are an amazing nurse. You were made for this.
