Marie has always been a self-starter and never lets the grass grow under her feet. Over the last year, her role broadened with ambulatory responsibilities. While Marie supports teams and leads transformation with assigned projects, she also knows how to maximize time and alternative resources to support nursing needs while avoiding cost. I am always impressed with her ability to leverage students to cross walk data in preparation for EMR build and deployment. Zero cost, a great learning opportunity for students, and a win for direct care nursing!
Nationally, Marie has been presenting more and she has a fan club that consistently requests time to learn about projects and processes she has led. I always tell her, if I had a Marie at all my sites, I wouldn't have any work to do! Marie is an invaluable member of our nursing and interdisciplinary teams. Her influence is felt across the organization and we thank her for her knowledge and expertise, determination, and her compassion. She is a professional nurse through and through.
