Marie Ledford's contribution to 4W and to the system is priceless. Mary has had a lot of accomplishments during her time here. She developed policies and procedures for ESJH. Marie's most recognizable achievement is her involvement with the CAPD program system wide. Marie not only helps nurses learn about CAPD but she shows them the importance of implementing it through her interactions with patients.
Marie has consistently taken initiative to make the hospital a better place. Whether it be through her patience in teaching other nurses or whether it be her attention to detail in providing patients the highest level of care. She takes on the responsibility of the floor and feels that every patient is her patient. She truly encompasses what the DAISY Award stands for.
