Marie is a nurse, who's like a strong tower among the chaos on our behavioral health ward. We're trying so hard to learn our coping skills and she is a light into a dark place. We can go and talk to her and be safe. She cares for us and loves us. In her silent presence as she comes and goes, she's not here often; but when when she is, she is a beacon of light that shines. She drives away the ghosts racing in our minds.
