Although Tampa General Hospital is a highly regarded medical facility, for me it is also a source of anxiety. My mother passed away here, and most recently, my 15-month-old granddaughter. My nurse, Marie, was the most kind, compassionate nurse I have had the pleasure of working with. She has a beautiful, kind way about her which instantly put me at ease. Marie took her time with me. She made me feel special, and cared for in a way that I didn't think was possible. There is no question that her work ethic is exemplary. She is very deserving of recognition, as clearly she has pride in her career I am forever grateful for how well I was cared for by Marie, and I am certain that she is this wonderful with all of her patients.
