Since the inauguration of the dedicated Isolation Unit in the Emergency Department SFHP following the outbreak of MERS CoV in Saudi Arabia, Marie has been an active member of the team working there. Marie took the time to prepare the area even going so far as to personally provide additional supplies she felt would add value to the unit.
As the ER Infection Control Link Nurse, I have nominated Marie for the DAISY Award for her total commitment and dedication to raising and maintaining standards within the unit, enhancing patient comfort and safety. She continues to maintain these high standards on a daily basis.
