Marietta is an outstanding nurse and is consistent in her demonstration of the ICARE core values. Her demeanor is inspiring, to both patients and providers. She works in the podiatry clinic in the Oakland Community Based Outpatient Clinic and she consistently goes above and beyond her assigned duties for each patient. For example, with the provider's high-risk diabetic patients, she calls them to remind them of their appointments. This has facilitated limb salvage for several of these patients. She always strives for the highest quality and continuous improvement. She is always offering ideas on how to improve patient care and access. From day to day, patient to patient, Marietta exemplifies the core values of ICARE. The provider feels honored to have such an exceptional nurse and human being on her team. For Marietta this is not a job, this is her calling.
