When I arrived for my C-section with my twin boys, I was overwhelmed with fear, but Mariko’s calm presence immediately brought comfort and reassurance. She stayed by my side through every step, even holding my hands during the spinal when my anxiety was at its highest. After one of my sons required respiratory support, Mariko recognized how difficult the separation was and compassionately wheeled my hospital bed into the nursery so I could hold both of my babies together.
