My mom was in the IMC for a URI and COPD exacerbation. She was very anxious and unable to communicate. Her first language is Mandarin, and she always watches a series on YouTube in Mandarin. We could not find anything on cable in Mandarin. Her nurse went out of her way to find a keyboard and set up her TV to enable YouTube streaming. In addition, she found a nice soap opera series in Mandarin, which she watched for days during her recovery.
