Marilou Magat, RN

Marilou Magat is a nurse in the Hemodialysis Unit who continually goes above and beyond for our department and patients. Marilou has been a safety coach, preceptor, and evening charge nurse. She will come back to work whenever we have an extra caseload and need help. Recently while on-call, she dialyzed two emergency cases after completing her 12.5 hour scheduled shift. Her experienced knowledge of the need for life-saving dialysis for these two patients drove her to work longer than 20 hours for the sake of her patients. I am continually in awe of her dedication to the team and her ability to do whatever is needed. She is the prime example of healthcare excellence and superior service in which CBMC strives to provide.
