Marilyn is an exemplary employee and a valuable asset to UHS - Radiology Dept. She takes on a leadership role and is available to staff at all times, she is just a page away. Her experience allows her to take charge in any circumstance. She is compassionate about her work and a great leader to those newly hired to her department. She is especially compassionate about patients and their outcomes. She has called primary care physicians to have home health ordered, also pain management issues on outpatients that come through the Radiology Department. She has been instrumental in the growth of the department and thus having more Nursing staff available for inpatient and outpatient radiological procedures.Marilyn is also an advocate for continuing education of staff and in promoting self growth. For the reasons listed above and much more, we nominate a great leader to be the recepient of the Daisy Award.
