Assalammu Alaikum (Greetings of Peace) I nominated nurse Marilyn due to her good dealing (care) with her patients. She displays a caring attitude and professional behavior. Her dedication to work and skillfulness are commendable. She pays attention even to the tiniest detail. Marilyn was diligent in terms of repositioning the patient and improving their comfort. There was a time that she showed skillfulness while inserting a Foley catheter, it was inserted before but had to be removed because of a complication. She repeated the procedure and did it correctly. With this, I would like to thank her for her efforts and good relationship with the patient.

She is one of the key staff in the unit. She is hardworking and flexible. I see in her the passion of giving her best at work and most especially to her patients. She is detail-oriented and quick to respond. She sees to it that the needs of the patients are addressed and anticipates possible outcomes and intervenes efficiently.

Marilyn started in the hospital as a Nurse Aide and eventually was promoted to a staff nurse; despite a change in her job position, she still helps her fellow nurses and nurse aides. In her free time, she will help the nurse aides with their tasks. There are a lot of times that she was floated and transferred to other units, but she perseveres and adapts to changes and dynamics of the new area/unit. She is praised not only by her patients but her colleagues as well. She is a true DAISY because of the quality and love she puts to her work.
