Marilyn T. Bathersfield, RN

Marilyn is a registered nurse who acts with high moral principles. She works diligently to ensure our patients, most importantly the geriatric patient population, receive optimal care at every visit. She constantly advocates for their interests, treating them with respect and dignity while striving for Excellence in care across the practice.

Every single day, Marilyn has shown excellence in patient care. She is readily available as a resource for the team gracefully answers questions, and is willing to coach team members.

Marilyn often goes above and beyond with every patient she is in contact with. She chooses to take her break only when there are no patients waiting to be seen. She stayed beyond her shift to accommodate and provide support for the team members.

I witnessed Marilyn give a warm, reassuring, comforting hug to a patient who was having accommodation problems. This affected the patient so badly that her blood pressure was elevated for a while, and nothing seemed to work. Marilyn not only comforted the patient by actively listening to the patient's story, but she went above and beyond by ensuring the patient was linked with every available resource in the community to support her and her family. Having more of Marilyn in the world will make the world a better place.
