I was sent to KM ED to treat an infected bone in my foot. As a diabetic, my situation was dire. My timing couldn’t have been worse. In the middle of the Coronavirus outbreak with Mecklenburg County forced shelter-in-place, I chose your facility. I was met by security at the door as the hospital was quarantined. I checked in and was called back immediately by my nurse Marina. In the midst of a pandemic, her professionalism and genuine concern for me comforted me and told me I made the right decision to come to your hospital. She became the face of your facility to me. You’ve got a winner in her.
