I am not a patient but a volunteer. There was a lady leaving whose husband is a patient. She was on a walker. She left out of the main entrance and we did not have any courtesy cart drivers since they were told to go home early because of the heat. It was about 11:45 am. The lady strolled herself out the door but couldn't remember where she parked. She was seated on her walker by the healing garden.
Marina was on her way to lunch and noticed her. Shen then came over to the information desk to see what to do. I told her I would get security for her as I still had 15 mins on my shift.
Security never came so when I went out, Marina was still with the lady. She spent time talking with the lady to make her feel comfortable.
Nursing never stops giving and we finally got her to her car. Bless people like Marina for spending her lunchtime to help.
