Marina Sotero-Galban was nominated for the DAISY Award by one of her co-workers who said Marina had the opportunity to take care of a patient having his first surgery. The patient was visibly nervous. Marina went above and beyond comforting the patient and providing a safe environment. She would want Marina to be an OR Nurse to take care of her own loved ones.
