I've been a patient for a week and had my gallbladder removed. While I've had a rotating cast of nurses, all of whom have been great, Mario has really stuck out. He's been really helpful and caring. It is easy to see and feel that he knows his job, but he also has a heart of gold that underlies his skill. He checks in frequently to make sure I'm comfortable and have the simple things to make my stay more pleasant. But, he also helpfully pushes me to do a little more and get me more mobile and independent.

He also shares his experience with other patients to help me understand how my recovery will go and reassure me of my progress and what I can expect, which makes me feel safe and more confident that I can get through the challenges.

His care, dedication, and kindness to his patients are obvious and definitely stand out among his peers... Who have also been wonderful.
