Marisa Campbell, RN

Marisa was absolutely incredible! I am 31 years old and had a stroke; never in a million years would I have thought I would have a stroke; it was due to postpartum. But I was devastated and terrified. When I got into the neurology unit, sweet Marisa was my night nurse. She went above and beyond for me! I rolled in so discouraged, but she made me feel so special. She kept telling me that I was doing great and that my “drift” wasn’t bad. She could see improvement by the next day! She even helped me do my hair because my left arm wasn’t mobile quite yet; she also made my husband feel just as special as me, and that truly meant a lot because he had to sleep in the hospital chair for 6 nights. She tried her best to feel comfortable. Marisa was extremely knowledgeable; she was actually training someone the first night I was there, and she did it with such grace. I tell everyone about how great my experience was because of Marisa!
