The charge nurse at the beginning of my journey and nurses from that point on took me under their wing and gave me all the excellent care and attention that anyone could ask for. The nurses on all shifts reviewed my condition and procedure orders and made sure everything was implemented correctly. These nurses did everything to keep me comfortable and informed all week, as well as my wife, who stayed with me around the clock due to the seriousness of my condition.
Without exception, every single nurse that took care of me was kind, concerned, informative, reassuring, and attentive to my needs with such a positive and uplifting attitude. We were scared this whole week and they did everything to help us get through the process.
The charge nurse Marise Pierrelus found an available bed for me on the unit where she took me to, personally, and where I stayed until I was discharged. I thank God that when this happened, I was in Naples NCH and the specific nursing angels, that I am naming were there to help me. I truly believe God sent these nurses, my band of angels, my way to take care of me at that difficult time. They will always be in my prayers as they serve to help other patients. I do not know the words to describe this lady. Excellent in all categories.
