Marisela is my hero! I would like to say that Mari did an excellent job helping me last night. When I came out of the OR with a repaired tibia and fibula that had been snapped in a couple of places during an auto accident, I was in real pain! I think the pain was the worst I have ever felt. Mari did everything she could to expedite my orders and get me a pain medication pump. She is the reason why I was able to actually sleep in comfort. Mari also made me feel comfortable and well cared for all night. Marisela did all of this while dealing with a patient that was trying to leave his bed. I could tell it was a busy ICU night but Mari's work ethic and bedside manner are excellent and she was not fazed by the busier environment. She is an excellent nurse and is a credit to this hospital. Marisela is well deserving of the DAISY Award.
