June 2020 Honoree
marisleydi mesa, BSN, RN, CMSRN
Mari started the shift reading my stats and getting to know me. A phlebotomist came in 30 minutes later to do bloodwork and I fainted. I could hear Mari's voice far away calling me, then I heard them telling someone my stats, who I was, why I was there, and that I had breast cancer as if they knew me personally. I couldn't answer because I later found out Mari had called a Code Rescue with me. Mari had just started the shift 1 hour before and was On Point with everything that was done! Mari and Y personally took me to the imaging department to get a CT Scan; I felt so special and protected. Thank you!
Thank you, Marisleydi, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
