I was a terrible patient, distracted and restless, yet Marissa never made me feel bad about my constant "calling" or my instance to get discharged.

Her honest advice was to put things into perspective. I had just had a cardiac arrest and a very risky procedure, so she strongly advised me to hang tight and let the cardiologist do their job. I wanted to leave ASAP as I was robbed while in a different facility. I really think she is an amazing listener and cared about my situation, but she was really great at communicating with me, which made me rethink my desire to leave early.
