Having an autoimmune disease is hard to deal with by yourself. Having a nurse who understands what you are going through and what you need sure makes it easier. One thing that is hard for nurses to understand is the pain associated with MS. Until you are able to receive treatments, the one thing is to manage the pain to keep it under control. Marissa understands, and she checks on me when meds are due to make sure I don’t need anything. She took all the care and concerns I felt. I began to relax and think about what I needed to heal, get better, and take care of my mental health. Thank you for caring, Marissa. You really made my stay more relaxing.
