Positive attitude wouldn't be how I describe Marissa Wooten, more like uplifting! She is always in a great mood, smiling and making co-workers laugh and when it's time to get down to business, she is always professional towards patients, their families, doctors, nurses and ancillary staff. She also has this way of making patients and families feel at ease, for example, once there was a patient having a hard time breathing and she told him to "stop and smell the roses" to get the patient to breath through his nose to get more oxygen. She just has these little ways to comfort patients. You can also tell in her tone of voice, how empathetic she is towards patients and family, she really does personalize it for each individual, no matter what.

Marissa is always the first to offer help to co-workers and she is quick on her feet too, always jumping to answer call lights etc. before I can even get out of my chair.
