Marji not only cared for my husband during his stay in Rehab, but she cared about me as well. She truly showed love from the bottom of her heart throughout one of the most emotionally trying times in our life. She was competent and encouraging and explained each situation and procedure completely to us in a way that we understand instead of being afraid. Many times she stayed over by as much as an hour to work on a medical issue because she wanted to see him get comfortable with her own eyes, before she would go home. She was always cheerful and gentle. She listened to our concerns and feedback on his reactions to medications and allowed those who know him best to be a partner in his care. Marji treated my husband with love and respect and took care of every nurse call button promptly and efficiently as well as lovingly.

My dad was there after hip surgery and Marji was not only very pleasant and welcoming to all of us, she made us feel so much better about being there. I know it takes a special person to be a nurse but it also is a blessing to have one that is so caring and nice! Marji is that kind of nurse and we so appreciate her kindness. I hope that people appreciate her like we did. It's so hard when a loved one is in the hospital, but to have a nurse like Marji helps you get through it so much!

There are some people who do a job, and others who do what they are called to do. Those called to do it with their heart. Marji was that person to our dear friend when he was there after hip surgery. She went over and beyond what she was required to do to make sure he was taken care of. She treated him with care and compassion, making sure she had done everything she could to make him comfortable. We appreciate the special care she gave, more than words can say.
