Marj made every effort possible that day for a sad little girl who just wanted to hug her daddy.
My husband was admitted to the hospital quite suddenly on a Friday afternoon. He had blockages in his heart and needed bypass surgery.
All of our children are old enough to visit him in the hospital but one who was eight. By Sunday, my daughter was beside herself and upset about how unfair it was that everyone could see Dad but her.
Marj was in the room during FaceTime, and she made accommodations to bring my husband down to the lobby so his little girl could see him and give him a hug before he had surgery. Marj made every effort possible that day for a sad little girl who just wanted to hug her daddy. She made us feel special and important during the 8 days we spent in the hospital.
After surgery, on Tuesday, we spent 24 hours in the ICU. The nurses there were awesome as well. When my husband was finally transferred back to the fourth floor on Thursday, Marj was again his nurse. He said, "It felt like coming home."
