July 2019 Honoree
Marjorie Beatty, LPN
When I came to my room after serious gallbladder surgery, Marjorie introduced herself as the nurse who will be taking care of me. By the way she spoke to me with a soft, kind, and caring voice I knew I was in good hands. Being a retired elementary teacher and counselor I am usually pretty good at judging a person's attitude and personality. I had no doubt in my mind that Marjorie was going to be a caring nurse for me during my duration at this hospital. She checked my IVs and made sure I had fluid and the necessary antibiotics. She encouraged me to walk the hallway on Friday so I can feel ready to go home. Marjorie was a very special nurse to me.
Thank you, Marjorie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
