Marjorie Gardner, BSN, RN, CBC

When a patient whose baby had passed away was struggling to make funeral arrangements due to a significant language barrier, Margie went above and beyond to help. She contacted local funeral homes to find one to accommodate the family's preferences. She assisted them in filling out all the necessary paperwork, and she even reached out to a nonprofit to cover all the burial costs. This went above and beyond her job description, but her efforts helped an entire family through one of the most challenging of circumstances. Margie is a blessing to our unit and all our patients.
