I required an eleven-day hospitalization after my surgery due to complications and had fabulous care by everyone I came in contact with. Marjorie Gordon stands out and deserves special recognition. Every day when she came on her shift she started with a complete physical exam. Her calm demeanor, compassionate disposition, and thorough care made an arduous hospital stay more bearable. One evening after I had experienced a full day of agonizing pain and shortness of breath, she was placed in the position of having to place my NG tube. To say that I was challenging would be an understatement! She was always graceful and my advocate.
