I feel like Marjorie saved my life yesterday. I recently had a toe amputation and after the doctor came to the room and did his follow-up, my foot needed to be rebandaged. So after waiting a bit I rang the lead nurse which was E. I asked for her assistance and told her I felt like it was an emergency, and she came within the minute. After seeing how serious the situation was, she called in Marjorie for help. She also showed up within seconds.

After wrapping my foot, Marjorie must have had my situation on her mind because she was very concerned about me because she actually kept on checking on me and I didn't know why I kept crossing her mind. So I asked her why and not only she was just doing her job, but she was really worried about how much blood I was losing. She was also training another nurse, so I think this was showing how important it is to be aware and caring. She contacted the doctor and got the doctor to come in and fix the bandage. I feel like this situation is the reason for such an award; she is a true DAISY Nurse.
