I was admitted to your hospital via ambulance with COVID19 and diabetes complications. When I woke up, I was in your critical care unit and was under the care of excellent doctors and nurses! Even they could not top the care I received from my male nurse when I was moved to the next level.

This young man treated me with the utmost respect and care. It is embarrassing at the age of 74 to have help with wiping yourself. He was kind enough to get me coffee once he found out that it was something I was craving. He also made sure to talk with me every time he came into the room and explained every medication to me. While I realize this is his job, he made sure I felt special and nothing I wanted was too much for him to do. That is a special talent to have when you are working with the public; to not convey anything but a smile and actual concern. He is definitely an asset to your hospital and I will always remember that kind man that was there for me when my family could not be. Please let him know how special he is and what a difference he makes in his day-to-day interactions with those patients he gets to take care of.
