His calmness and smile have inspired me to come together and continue providing excellent care for our patients, even during busy times.
Mark has been such an incredible nurse, a fantastic team leader, and a preceptor we can always count on! Whenever he's at the bedside, he's eager to help out fellow nurses who might need a hand.

I've had the joy of knowing him since he joined our unit about five years ago, back when I was one of his preceptors during orientation. As one of the ultrasound IV nurses at our East Campus, he's always there to support nurses from other units with their IV placement requests. We're really lucky to have him on our team!

I've seen him perform so many amazing acts of kindness for his patients that totally deserve this DAISY Award! It's been a challenging time for all of us working as bedside nurses since COVID, especially with short staffing and increased patient ratios. I remember when I was a team leader, and Mark really stepped up during those times. He was always willing to take on extended ratios to lend a hand in our unit, and that kind of support made a big difference!

Some nurses become a little frustrated when they are assigned to extended ratios, but Mark is different. His calmness and smile have inspired me to come together and continue providing excellent care for our patients, even during busy times. I want to highlight Mark, who was the first nurse to manage a three-hour MRI for one of our patients. He received some valuable feedback on how we can enhance our processes.

In addition, Mark's involvement in our PG from 2023 to 2025 has contributed some wonderful ideas to improve our team's performance. It's truly inspiring to see such a DAISY candidate like Mark in our unit.
