In the midst of this pandemic, healthcare workers are pushed to the max; as if they weren't already, but now even more so. They are called on to stand in the gap at a time when family members and loved ones cannot. Mark Brow was that nurse for us. A nurse in the Emergency Department, which is never a short pace, but now with this pandemic, extremely taxing. I mention this because one would never have known, due to his easy, breezy, and patient demeanor with our family. He provided us with a complete and thorough explanation as to what was going on, answering all of our questions and concerns calmly. In an effort to soothe our woes, he afforded us the opportunity to FaceTime per his own prompting. After allowing us that time, he then gave us a brief glimpse of him; to show us the person/nurse who is caring for our loved one. When we saw his smile, it put us at ease even more so.
