Mark was one of the first people we met at St. Jude and boy are we thankful! From the first moment, he was so sweet, gentle and caring to our child (and to her very anxious mom). In those first days, our whole family was on edge and constantly fearing the worst but every encounter we had with Mark brought peaceful reassurance. He embodies the values we constantly encounter at St. Jude: treating every single child as if they were the only child. Our child's story ended so happily and with a great outcome, and we are forever thankful, but we are just as thankful that we got to experience the selfless love and care provided by St. Jude staff like this nurse. It's beyond humbling, and we are forever changed. Mark, we love you and will always think of you as family!
