Mark Cardwell was on the 7p-7a shift the only night I didn't spend the night in my husband's hospital room. The next day, my husband told me how compassionate Mark had been to him. He said, "Mark took such good care of me and he treated and talked to me like I was his daddy." My husband got so choked up trying to tell me how much it had meant to him. One of the things he explained to Mark was about the anxiety he was feeling. We have met many nice nurses and techs during his stay. Many going above and beyond to help but because this encounter meant so much, I wanted to make sure Mark was recognized.
