Mr. Mark Hand is a professor in the Adult Health area at the College of Nursing. He is an excellent clinician and student advocate. He is always willing to serve on committees and participates in many service projects including the Relay for Life program of the American Cancer Society. He revitalized the team and mentored the students in the team captain role so they could take over the team in subsequent years. Mr. Hand has a wonderful enthusiastic attitude and is a favorite of students. In addition, he is the president of the North Carolina Nurses Association.
