Time after time in more than one situation Mark has been there to save the day, support the staff during a bad outcome, help find resources or supplies, talk out possible scenarios when the bad goes to the next level of care. He is a calming presence and a knowledgeable supervisor.
1. Demise patient bleeds out, ends up in the unit, multiple blood products - Mark is there
2. Disruptive behavior patient arrives to the floor and Mark calmly supports the staff 1st and sets appropriate boundaries for the patient so we can care for them.
3. He is ready to help in any way necessary; i.e. place NG tube or complete a second assessment.
