Mark is as kind as anyone I've ever encountered. He came to my room to settle my mother's concerns. He took the time to really understand what was going on and helped us to feel empowered when the doctor wasn't listening. He took the time to sit and talk and gave my mom the opportunity to ask questions. The communication with the doctors improved greatly after that. His staff on 3 West respect and admire his attention to the patients on his unit. You can tell that he truly cares for the patients and their families.
